Summer running is your business.  Everyone should be doing it, working up to at least 40 minutes of running, 5 days per week by the time the REAL practice starts.  True success comes from within.  Don't wait for the coaches to make you run, discipline yourself.
 
That REAL practice will begin at 8:00am, August 20, and goes Monday - Saturday until school starts, with Labor day weekend OFF.
 
 
When school starts, practice begins Tuesday, September 4th. at the High School Track, 3:30
Slow distance, running drills, fitness and building a training base are the goals.
First meet is September 8 at Darlington Park.
 
It's going to be a great year!
 
 
 Check that footwear!!  Proper running shows, in good condition will PREVENT INJURY
If you need shoes, get them now and get used to them.  Don't wait, replace those old shoes now.
