Health Related and Skill Related Components of Fitness are in!
We work hard on developing character, teamwork, active habits, learning sports and games, and opening lines of communication. We create a culture of activity, where students and teachers support each other. Next, we start to move on building knowledge and abilities in Physical Fitness.
Health related components of fitness are:
- Cardiovascular Endurance
- Muscular Strength
- Body Composition
Skill related components of fitness are:
- Reaction Time
Everyone will become expert in knowing what these terms mean, how to measure them, develop them, and set goals for personal improvement in them.
Our major units of study are: Sports education and character development, Practicing, measuring and testing skill related fitness components, Developing, learning and testing health related fitness components, with the emphasis on developing healthy lifestyle habits, and lastly, recreational games and activities for fun and fitness.
