Pamela Duffus and Ariel Rudin presented two best practice lectures about service learning and traveling with students titled, Empowering Students to Make a Difference and The Power of Travel for Student Success; Michele Keller shared her creative digital art assignments in a lecture titled, Foto Friday and Other One Day Assignments; and Lynda Panno led a sold out, hands-on, workshop teaching educators how to create sheetrock carvings. The four teachers exhibited professionalism and a desire to share their knowledge with other art teachers from across the state. In addition to inspiring others, they developed their craft and learned new concepts and techniques to bring back to the classroom.
