The Westwood Regional School District is looking for a part-time (3 days per week) School Safety & Security Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred. Twenty years of law enforcement or related school security experience.
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
CPR / AED certified
Competency in technology and computers
Ability to provide leadership and guidance regarding safety and security issues in an educational environment
Must possess New Jersey State Police Training Commission’s School Resource Officer’s (SRO) certificate
Must possess organizational skills, work independently and adhere to deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
