Third graders in Mrs. Mosery’s class are working hard to set goals as writer’s. As they launch into their Narrative unit, they are going to revisit their goals and check in on how they are progressing! #BESTatBrookside

Second graders in Mrs. Vaughan's class took a gallery walk to check out their classmates’ small moments collages. They told each other stories about their pictures to help spark ideas for their writing. #BESTatBrookside



Kindergarteners in Ms. Morales' class are learning that we are ALL readers. We can read symbols, pictures, and signs. We are growing our reading skills while learning all about the world in amazing picture books too! #BESTatBrookside

Today Director of Special Services, Mr. Renshaw, and Assistant Director, Dr. Gluck, facilitated a co-teaching workshop for Brookside staff. They discussed how to build strong co-teaching relationships and the most effective models of instruction for our learners. #BESTatBrookside
