A few kindergarteners are reading The Arabic Quilt to link the letter Qq to #ArabAmericanHeritageMonth.

Pick a clip? Thank you Ms. Georgiadis and the 'Kindness Club' for ways to display and remember our kindness towards others.

Thank you Westwood Police Department and SLEO Greg for helping with our bus evacuation drills today.

For students in gr 4-12: We stand silent to remember those that were killed during the Holocaust. We also stand silent to reflect on the survivors, the heroes that lived. Many who left their countries after World War II who settled around the world, many came to NJ and even to Bergen County. If we were to stand silent for every victim in the Holocaust we would stand for over 11 years! We stand to remember that prejudice can start small but turn into a great tragedy. #HolocaustRemembranceDay

We enjoyed the visit from the Harlem Wizards, who will be playing WRSD on April 2, 2023 to benefit Project Graduation 2024!

Who is ready for our upcoming Art Show and Open House in two weeks on Thursday, March 30? WE ARE!!!

In response to this week's display of hate & bias, the Office of Curriculum & Instruction compiled resources for parents. Swastikas, speech & other images that diminish a group are condemned. Go to: https://sites.google.com/wwrsd.org/publiccurriculumoffice for more information.

We remain grateful and positive...especially Mrs. Massaro, for creating Berkeley's Positivity Chain...here's a sneak peek until you can see it in person for Open House later this month.

Kindergarteners love to 'unlock' sounds and letters with Mrs. Houck!

Multilingual learners (ESL) have the opportunity to use an iPad Mini to assist with translations. WRSD has over 70 students learning English as a new language, with over 400 students in the district speaking another language at home, in at least a dozen languages. #Diversity

Our teachers come up with great ways of presenting student learning.
