Students in Mr. Gunneson’s High School Materials & Processing class are creating seasonal festive light boxes.




Mr. Chen's Physics class is blasting off this October! The students are using the powerful motion equations of physics to calculate how fast these rockets blast off.

The Westwood Regional High School National Art Honor Society is excited to host the annual Pumpkin Carving and Painting on Sunday, October 20 from 12-3:00 pm. Admission is $10 & includes a pumpkin and face painting. There will also be a pizza and bake sale. Always a great event.

Westwood's Middle and High School Physical Education + School Counseling departments partnered for professional development through the Bergen County Division of Mental Health Services on October 14th. Bergen County Division of Mental Health Services presented, “It’s Real: Teens and Mental Health” Thank you Wendy S for training our trainers and sharing your story.

The varsity debate team crushed it during the first tournament of the season at Fair Lawn High School this past Friday. A big congratulations to Sofia Suits for winning best judge, Zachary Risbud for winning first place speaker, and to Daniel Shotkin for winning second place speaker. Additionally, captains Angel Morales and Daniel Shotkin won first place team and juniors Zachary Risbud and Andrew Gavenko placed third. It’s going to be a great season! Go Cards!

WWRSD Special Education Parents Advisory Group (SEPAG) is hosting their next meeting on Monday, October 14 at 6:30 PM in the High School Media Center. During the meeting, Mr. Renshaw and Dr. Gluck will deliver an overview of the Special Education process, explain the components of an IEP, and provide a "who is who" description of the Child Study Team Members. We hope to see you there.


Our Honors Design thinking class from last year solved a real-life problem in real time for a billion-dollar company. The class took a challenge from the CEO of American Dream Mall last November and worked on different solutions throughout the year using the Design Thinking methodology. American Dream Mall adopted one of our solutions/suggestions. Such an amazing experience for our students! Go Cards!
