
Students in ELA 7 are viewing Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech today and analyzing his powerful figurative language, drawing connections to their own social issues texts.


The Helping Hands Club collected over 50 coats for the Jersey Cares Coat Drive! These coats will be distributed to people of all ages in need.


The World Cultures Club discussed how the holiday season is celebrated throughout the world. Members took part in a 'White Elephant' that stems back to the kingdom of modern day Thailand where the Siamese King would gift an actual white elephant. Festive fun! Happy Holidays!


Ms. McLaughlin’s 7th grade social studies class is getting hands-on, and writing their names in hieroglyphics.




Mrs. Christie’s ELA students are challenging the depth of their thinking and showing what they know with their One-Pagers.




Bravo to our MS and HS ensembles this evening for a wonderful holiday concert!

Happy Thanksgiving from the WRMS faculty and staff!



So much fun with students and staff at our first Advisory Happy Day! Among other things, students worked together in a scavenger hunt, “The Best” game, a grateful tree, and Advisory poster making.





Awesome Volleyball for a Cause event after school! Students and staff had a blast playing against each other, and we filled a pickup truck bed with all the food for St. Andrew’s pantry!





Weekly, the WRMS staff does a Friday “Casual for a Cause”. For the past two weeks we collected non-perishable items and monetary donations for Helping Hand Food Pantry. We dropped off over $200 and 4 boxes of food and supplies today!

Monsieur Welfel's 8th Grade French Honors class was super excited to chat live with their pen-pals from Monpellier, France. Students cannot wait to connect and continue communicating with their new international friends!




As part of our Veterans Day studies, students and faculty put together a display case of military and first responders’ uniforms, medals, equipment and more from those who were, or are, serving. The display will stay up through November to demonstrate our gratitude!


Great discussions today in Advisory on building connections and how being yourself shows strength! Students put what they learned to practice with different trust building games and activities.

The kids had another great Fall Festival today! 8th Grade really showed up in their spirit red!





Lots of spirit this week! Sharks and Penguins from 7th grade and students and staff enjoying Hawaiian/Tropical Day!





Some of our 8th grade band students joined the HS marching band and enjoyed a great night of music and football!
