The Westwood Regional School District is proud to announce "Once a Cardinal, Always a Cardinal," a new initiative celebrating the deep-rooted connection between the District and its staff. This program highlights the 60 current employees who are also proud graduates of Westwood Regional Schools.
The initiative recognizes employees who have come full circle, returning to the hallways where they once learned to now lead and inspire the next generation. These dedicated individuals represent a wide range of roles, from teachers and administrators to support staff. Their collective experience totals an impressive 565+ years, showcasing a profound and enduring commitment to the community.

Over the past two days, our WRMS staff had the pleasure of welcoming our newest students and their families to middle school during our 6th Grade Student and Parent Orientations. It was a night filled with excitement as students received their locker assignments and found some special surprises waiting for them inside. Parents got a glimpse into what to expect during these important middle school years. We are so excited to introduce our new motto: "The Middle Matters." It's a reminder that these years are a crucial time for growth, discovery, and building a foundation for the future. We can't wait to see what this year holds for our incoming 6th-grade students! #TheMiddleMatters #WRMS #MiddleSchool #StudentOrientation #BackToSchool #WestwoodRegionalSchoolDistrict

French students in 7th and 8th grade had a great day making croissants with an executive pastry chef. Students then participated in a scavenger hunt exploring a variety of French products. We ended the day with a three course luncheon at an authentic French restaurant.
