The World Cultures club held their most recent virtual meeting to discuss Central African culture. We learned about common foods, local instruments, clothing and more! Members couldn't mask their excitement!

Mrs. Zalarick’s science students are learning about the impact daily activities have on our individual and collective pollution footprint. Students add drops of colored water for each activity they engage in that gives off different types of air pollution.



Environmental Engineering Students finished their course with Off the Grid Projects. Students researched a country and designed a sustainable architectural structure using local materials with a renewable energy source.

WRMS’ World Cultures Club held their most recent meeting this week. Members were presented with tidbits on Indian culture. Each student brought a few spices to present and discuss. A great thyme for all!

7th grade Art students are working hard on their Pop Art projects!




Mrs. Patusco’s 7th grade students studied Amanda Gorman’s “The Hill We Climb” today as part of their Patterns of Tolerance and Equity Unit. Students made great connections between this, “I Have a Dream” and their own texts and experiences!

The Fractured Art unit is wrapping up. Amazing work from some of our 8th graders!

Mrs. Jones' 7th Grade Language Arts students began their Historical Patterns of Tolerance and Equity unit developing their own belief statements on equity. So impressed and proud!

“Real or Fake?” Ms. Baratti’s Photography students learn about food advertising and how the ads are made to look better than the actual product. They’ll never look at food ads the same again!

Students used items that would typically be discarded to create Found Art. The spark plugs can even be changed out on this lawnmower!

Sixth graders are building and testing paper glider designs as part of the brainstorming process after learning about Newton’s three laws and how it relates to flight and aerodynamics!
