Congratulations to the 6th Grade Band Students for an outstanding performance this past weekend at Mount Olive High School. 6th Grade students from over 60 middle schools in Northern New Jersey were selected to participate in the one day concert event.

Mr. Baez and Ms. Buonforte's 8th graders visited Madame Tussauds. Students were able to tour the wax museum, interact with exhibits, and learn about how this famous business operates. Journalism students will be reporting on their experience this week!

A big thank you to "Stand Tall Steve" who hosted our motivational rally. Steve reminded us of the importance of being prepared, working as a team, and having confidence. These are all great tips for the upcoming NJSLA. We even got to brush up on our YMCA moves!

Our WRMS School Counseling Department received the Grief Sensitive Schools Designation this week. We thank New York Life and Coalition to Support Grieving Students. The Grief-Sensitive Schools Initiative (GSSI) seeks to better equip educators to care for grieving students by introducing GrievingStudents.org and other grief resources.

The Bergen County School Counselor Association Executive Board would like to congratulate Caitlin on being selected as K-8 Counselor of the Year! Caitlin's nominations by members of the BCSCA Executive Board were seconded by all for her fabulous work in organizing and executing tremendous programming for the county’s K-8 counselors.
