History officially came to life today at our amazing 3rd Grade Wax Museum!
Our talented students didn’t just research history, they became it! From authors and inventors to athletes, musicians, and inspiring historical figures, Brookside was filled with some of the legends who have shaped our world.
A huge thank you to all the families and staff who came out to "push the button" and hear these incredible stories. We are so proud of our young historians and their hard work!

High School Digital Media students are diving into the world of podcast production—learning how to create, direct, and film their own shows! From writing scripts and practicing teleprompter delivery to managing sound engineering, students are building real-world media skills. They’re also gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software like Riverside, preparing them for careers in today’s digital content landscape.
Huge congrats to all our mini-researchers for their hard work and "Eureka!" moments. The future is looking bright (and very scientific)! 💡🧪

Class of 2026: William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund Scholarship
The William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund was created to award a graduating Westwood High School student with a $5,000 scholarship to pursue a technical or trade school, culinary or art institute, certificate or vocational program, or an experiential learning program. Our family values the personal growth a traditional college can provide, but we recognize it is not for everyone and hope to see non-traditional educational paths normalized and celebrated options for high school students.
