The 4th grade team at Brookside hosted a delightful Tea Party to celebrate their students' incredible informational writing! Inspired by their American Revolution unit, students dressed the part, sipped tea, and shared their published pieces with pride. Mr. Deblasio's High School Honors Design Thinking class met their corporate sponsor, the New York Boulders.The multi-faceted challenge they received is to try and create new ticket pack designs for families, to design additional perks for season ticket holders, create additional birthday party add-ons and design social media campaigns to increase ticket sales. They look forward to creating and sharing their new ideas regarding this challenge. Amazing experience for our students!
The hiking club had a great day at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation this past Friday! Students hiked about 3.5 miles and enjoyed a lovely day immersed in nature. We look forward to our next hike!
