Students in the Italian Honor Society organized items for the "Socks of Love" winter donation drive. The students made care packages to be distributed to the less fortunate. Thank you to all who donated! Your contributions are greatly appreciated."




High School hall decorating competition between the classes! The chosen themes were New Year's Eve, Birthdays, St. Patrick's Day, and Halloween! Great job and thank you to our student council for organizing the event.

Ms. Councilor's class is celebrating the 100th day of school all week long! Today's theme was 'Dress Like a Teacher'. Students pictured are dressed as Ms. Councilor, Mrs. Murno, Ms. Lizzi, and Mr. Fiorello.




Amazing "POPS" Concert last night featuring our Concert Band, Concert Choir, Wind Ensemble, and Chamber Singers! Great job by all of our talented students. Thank you Mr. Pena, Mr. Fritz, and Mrs. Peterson!




The Westwood H.S. Science League recently completed an Engineering challenge. Their task was to create a ring using only Pringle crisps. No tape, glue, string, or other supportive devices were allowed! They learned that this is indeed possible due to good old fashioned Physics.



Mrs. Seigle and all first graders celebrate the 101st day of school due to their love of Disney and 101 Dalmatians! As you can see, children even dressed in black and white.

Students participated in a "Say Something" workshop today offered through Care Plus that educates students about observable warning signs that are often present in behavior that could lead to someone hurting themselves or others & how to report these concerns to trusted adults.

This is part of why school counselors are such a vital part of the elementary school community! At a recent lunch group, students talked about positive attitudes, brainstormed “Three words to live by” and created posters that best suited them! Thank you Mrs. Petrosino!


AP Environmental Science students are learning about the process of mining and its environmental impact. Today's lab involved extracting the chocolate chips from a cookie, selling the "ore", and the reclamation of the land afterwards.
