JFG Kindergartners talked about emotions & played along guessing what Ms. Williams was feeling under her mask. They talked about what other clues can tell us how someone is feeling & if we don't know - we can always ask! #SEL

It’s testing day in 6th grade Engineering! We designed logos for a new flavor of Pringles and built a promotional package. Whose chips will survive the test?

First graders are learning about plant life cycles in science class. They planted 2 types of grass seeds to create their own personal “lawns!” The grass has grown so tall that it is time to give it a trim.

Students in Mr. Tresvalles's Mechatronics class are working on assembling VEX Clawbots with remote students contributing to the project through coding on how the robot functions.

It’s a great day to take our learning outside!

Our third graders are enjoying a good book and some sunshine!

Wellness Wednesday! JFG Staff is scanning their way into meditation videos. The QR Codes attached to a treat link to meditations, self-care tips, & other ways for JFG staff to clear their minds & reset when they need.

Feels like summer today! Our 4th graders enjoyed the sun and their snacks. Third graders are working on writing their own fairy tales.

Good Morning Officer Laurent! Thank you Westwood Police Department for helping us during morning drop off.

Sports Club members played in a before-school contactless kickball/soccer game with Mr. Orsini and Mr. Fadini. Students use only their feet to play, and outs are recorded by kicking the ball into the nets strategically placed around the gym by each team.

Mrs. Morfing’s 8th grade science students are learning about saturated solutions through making rock candy!

Proud of our group of 8th grade NJHS members who spent their Saturday morning participating in the Westwood Environmental Advisory Committees Earth Day Clean Up of Westvale Park!

A very special day at Washington! We had our first outdoor assembly, celebrating our athletes in our annual Hot Shots competition. Thank you Mr. O'Melia for an amazing day and congratulations to all who participated!

JFG Kindergarteners talked about pausabilities & the importance of pausing when our brains need a break. We can take deep breaths, go for a walk or speak kindly to ourselves with positive affirmations - to name a few! The students made their own pause buttons!

Ms. Halter’s Italian classes finished up the viewing of the Sempreverde edumusical and interacted in Italian with performers from the Italian play.
