Mr. Thames US History II class acknowledged Black History Month by learning about the beginning of The Great Migration of African Americans from the rural South to the urban Northeast, Midwest, and West.
Our varsity debate team had another successful tournament! Grace Mohr won an award for best judge. Marta Bystrowska & Olivia Larsen also won several rounds from the day's tournament, continuing to climb the league's rankings. We are so proud of our team's continued growth!
Our 3rd graders have been using @Pixar shorts and @padlet to practice preparing themselves for literary essays.

The World Cultures club held their most recent virtual meeting to discuss Central African culture. We learned about common foods, local instruments, clothing and more! Members couldn't mask their excitement!
Mrs. Zalarick’s science students are learning about the impact daily activities have on our individual and collective pollution footprint. Students add drops of colored water for each activity they engage in that gives off different types of air pollution.

AP French students and students from our partner school in Montpellier, France presented posters to each other in real-time today. Awareness of global environmental issues was the theme of the posters and presentations.
