Our Work-Based Learning Coordinator, Ms. Murray has set up a visit to the Mahwah campus of Lincoln Technical Institute. The visit to Lincoln Tech will take place on April 25, 2025. Thank you to Isabella LaMotta for hosting Westwood Regional High School's first "CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD LIVE AT LUNCH". Thank you to the staff who participated, Mrs. Petrocelli (Digital Media Teacher), and all of the students behind the scenes. TEAM Connelly with the win!


Students had the opportunity to interact with neurosurgeons and surgical team members observing a live neurosurgery in real time at the Liberty Science Center. They had the chance to ask questions as the surgery took place. This valuable experience also exposed our students to various career opportunities in science and medicine. Great experience!



Ayden Abreu is participating in the High School's Work Based Learning Program @ Valley Hospital. He has been rotating through departments, focusing on the recruitment department. Ayden will be majoring in psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Great experience!


Ms. Murray recently toured Universal Technology Institute in Bloomfield NJ. They have 16 campuses across the country that offer housing. UTI offers skilled trades, automotive, diesel, collision, marine, motorcycle, HVAC, & welding in various transportation industries all achievable in less than 18 months. Attention High School Students: The National Summer Program Fair -a free event for high school students and families on January 28th from 4:30-7:00PM at the Bogota Bank (Rothman) Center @ Fairleigh Dickinson University , Hackensack.
This in-person event will showcase over 100 ways high school students can spend summer 2025, including on-campus pre-college programs at the nation's most prestigious universities, study abroad opportunities, STEM programs, teen travel, art/portfolio prep, test prep, and local nonprofits seeking summer volunteers.

The Middle School Counseling Department is collaborating with NJ4S- Statewide Student Support Services. This is one of NJ4S Tier 2 services which includes early identification and focused prevention interventions for middle school students. NJ4S programming is student-centered, with evidence-based prevention and intervention programming.
