Continental Math League was a success! We had our first meet yesterday. We have 77 students participating this year. Way to go, mathematicians!

Thank you to the BOE who honored our student athletes and coaches last night. A special shout out to these incredible soccer players and their proud coach. This marks our second year in a row of these fabulous ladies winning the League Title! Go Cards!

We were in awe of the breadth and depth of services offered to clients of all ages in one place, making accessing support easy and comprehensive. Body Positive Works offers personalized guidance and support to help you achieve your well-being goals. Their diverse services are tailored to your unique needs. We look forward to building our partnership with them.






Mrs. Alvarez and our Brookside families collected 212 pounds of candy during our second annual candy swap! The candy was donated to Valley Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House of Valhalla, NY. #BESTatBrookside

Our recess stations soared to a whole new level! Our students are weaving rainbow loam designs and practicing math concepts such as measurement, symmetry, and geometry. By measuring the length of their rainbow bands, they have combined hands-on fun with real-world math skills!

Great PD opportunity! Tinkering and Creating with AI Tools. This full day hands-on workshop was designed for educators to explore the ability to create custom chatbots and multimedia with generative AI. It explores how educators can increase their awareness, comfort and ability to leverage AI for good in an educational setting. Brookside students celebrated World Kindness Day on November 13th through different activities. Third grade students created cards for different people in their lives. Ms. Hughes was lucky to receive a few! #BESTatBrookside



Final Q1 performances in our new Theater Classes were a huge success! Students did an incredible job learning lines, creating characters, and working together on these scenes!
