Brookside welcomed some very special visitors from Jenkinson’s Aquarium this morning!

As a culminating activity for our One School, One Book initiative, we celebrated our reading of Mr. Popper’s Penguins with a visit from Ms. Betty the Penguin and her two handlers! Students loved meeting Ms. Betty and learning all about penguins together, it was the perfect way to bring our story to life.

Thank you to Jenkinson’s Aquarium for such a memorable experience!

Ms. Velten partnered once again with KPMG/Montvale to support Language Arts through a generous book donation. KPMG donated $300 toward brand-new fiction and non-fiction books for small-group instruction. Our students can’t wait to dive into their new reads and continue growing their love of learning and leadership through reading!
