Berkeley kindergarteners show their gratitude for their Fifth Grade Buddies in many ways, including preparing Thanksgiving treats for their Fifth Grade Buddies. Kindergarteners made their own applesauce, pumpkin 'pie', and butter.
November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month:
Andrea Racioppi, an educator from the Epilepsy Services of New Jersey came to speak to all Berkeley fifth graders about recognizing seizures and providing basic first aid (TRUST).

Berkeley students shared their Halloween candy with the Veterans at the VA home in Paramus. Maybe a few less sweets for kids, but a big treat to show their gratitude for our Veterans! Thank you Mrs. Petersen for organizing our donation.
