Students had the opportunity to interact with neurosurgeons and surgical team members observing a live neurosurgery in real time at the Liberty Science Center. They had the chance to ask questions as the surgery took place. This valuable experience also exposed our students to various career opportunities in science and medicine. Great experience!

Ms. Murray recently toured Universal Technology Institute in Bloomfield NJ. They have 16 campuses across the country that offer housing. UTI offers skilled trades, automotive, diesel, collision, marine, motorcycle, HVAC, & welding in various transportation industries all achievable in less than 18 months. Ms. Florek's English classes came to the media center for a "Speed Dating with a Book" activity. Students participated in multiple rounds of 5 minute "dates" getting to know books from seven different genres and identifying any that they would like to spend more time with.
