Mr. O'Connor's Chemistry students worked through an exciting investigative lab studying the basic gas laws! From crushing cans with Boyle's Law, the "rising tide" of water in a breaker with Gay-Lussac, to expanding gloves to show Charles' Law, what a day to be a Chemistry student!

High school teachers took students on a collaborative History and French field trip to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York City. Students explored various exhibits on World War II, the Cold War, and the Vietnam War. Fun had by all. Go Cards!

Art Club's Community Crane Project! Neta Nemesh and Lindsey Meier taught students and staff to fold origami cranes as a symbol of peace. Their goal is to collect over 1000 cranes before the STEAM Expo in May.

Our WWRHS School Counseling Department received the Grief Sensitive Schools Designation this week. We thank New York Life and Coalition to Support Grieving Students. The Grief-Sensitive Schools Initiative (GSSI) seeks to better equip educators to care for grieving students by introducing GrievingStudents.org and other grief resources.

Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Duffus enjoyed exploring the breathtaking beauty of our national parks with great company! Over spring break they embarked on an unforgettable adventure with 9 High School students to the stunning National Parks in the West! Witnessing the awe-inspiring landscapes and sharing the joy of discovery with the next generation.
