This past Thursday, Mr.DeBlasio’s High School Honors Design Thinking class visited the American Dream Mall for their final presentation. The class took a challenge from the CEO in November and worked on different solutions using the Design Thinking methodology over 7 months. The students broke off into 5 groups, each focusing on a different part of the mall, trying to figure out how to bring in the most customers. The presentation was a success as the students wait to hear which group’s idea they liked the best. Amazing experience for our students!

Congratulations to all of the National Art Honor Society, International Thespian Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society inductees! Great job!

Never Forget!!!!

Westwood Regional High School French and Spanish students had a fantastic experience exploring the wonders of European art at The MET NYC. It was a great way for students to gain insight on the material learned in class and connect it to the real world. Go cards!

The Westwood Regional High School Safe Driving Club won Most Creative at the U Got Brains competition at Six Flags!

Good luck to our baseball team playing in the Bergen County Championship on Saturday at noon at Demarest High School. Go Cards!

Come see the amazing talent of our K-12 Art, Engineering, and Science students on display in the upper gym at the high school. Tonight from 5:30-7:30. The High School "Pops" concert is tonight at 6:30 as well!

Physics students took a trip to American Dream Mall where they got to see the engineering process behind building and loading one of the largest indoor Ferris wheels in the world, the Dream Wheel. They also got to experience the physics they've been learning about all year behind roller coasters, spinning rides, and free fall rides at Nickelodeon Universe.

Mr. Piskadlo's High School Environmental students cleaned up 670 pounds of garbage recovered from the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir. Great job!

Our High School Honors Design Thinking Class presented to American Dream representatives to display our ideas to benefit the mall and to show our commercial pitches before we present to the CEO later this month. Great experience for our students!

Class of 2024:Senior Decision Day, May 20, 2024.
To celebrate this exciting time in your school career, we will be having our banner signing in the Cafeteria during the first period block on May 20th. We would like to recognize and celebrate all students and their plans post-graduation including college, trade school, military, or joining the workforce. We invite students to join us for breakfast to sign the banner and commemorate this momentous event. Feel free to bring a small sticker with your school's logo/mascot and make sure to show your "new" school pride by wearing gear (hats, shirts, sweatshirts, etc). If you are undecided or haven't committed by this date, please know you are welcome to attend the event with your senior class.
We are thrilled to celebrate your accomplishments with you. We are proud of the young individuals you have become over your years at Westwood Regional High School. Please know that regardless of where you are headed, remember what you have learned about Cardinal Pride and take it with you! Once a Cardinal, always a Cardinal.

Happy Mother's Day! Enjoy the day!

Once again, I would like to thank all of the amazing staff at the high school and wish them a Happy Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to our PSO for providing a breakfast, ice cream truck, and lunch for our staff.
