Today Kindergarteners celebrated Earth Day a day early today! Look at those smiles! #BESTatBrookside

The 1st annual Middle School Business Fair "Shark Tank Edition" was a huge success. Congratulations to all of our entrepreneurs!

Happy Eid! Ramadan ends after a month of fasting and prayer.

If you ask anyone in 4AC what their favorite time of the day is they would say MORNING MEETING! This morning consisted of a shoe greeting and silent ball! We love starting our day on a positive note! #BESTatBrookside

Q and U are officially married! It was a pleasure to announce the joining of 2 very special letters that make a single speech sound when we read! "What phonics has joined together let no letter divide!" #JustFocusonGrowing

Director of Elem Education learned about the Twp of Washington resources from Children's Librarian Marie Joyce. Dr. Carmichael was impressed by the growing section of decodable readers to support phonics and the ongoing programs for children. Twpofwashingtonpl.org @twpwashlibrary

Our Family Weekend Activity focuses on an Earth Day mediation! Our Earth is a beautiful place that not only helps us physically but helps our hearts and minds too! #JustFocusonGrowing #innovationEDNJ https://watch.screencastify.com/v/ffTr4Psluw9NOr8xppyD

How many yards does it take to get from Mrs. Fodor's classroom to Ms. Palianto's office? Just ask these 2nd graders who measured the distance yard by yard to the principal's office at Washington School! The answer = 62 yards! #WeAllShine@Washington

Our first graders taught the school about citizenship at our Spirit Assembly! #WeAllShine@Washington

Our students created mobiles with ways we can help keep our planet clean! They even planted grass seeds after learning what plants need to survive! #JustFocusonGrowing

Our 2nd graders focus on Earth Day by placing the world in their hands and are learning ways to take care of it! #JustFocusonGrowing

Middle School Music on Tour -- Today we are visiting our elementary schools as a part of our annual recruitment trip. Here is a photo of our Jazz Band, under the direction of Mrs. Peterson. Go Cardinals!

I am honored to present Mr. and Mrs. Qu, who are always together when we read and write! Thank you to our kindergarten staff and students for a very 'quaint' ceremony!

A few kindergarteners are reading The Arabic Quilt to link the letter Qq to #ArabAmericanHeritageMonth.

Our students become avid readers by having in-school "play dates!" They were paired with their reading buddies and "played school" working on reading fluency and comprehension! It's all about creative and positive experiences! #JustFocusonGrowing

Thank you @WashTwpPolice for helping us to create positive memories for our students! Sophia and her brother Michael got such a special ride to school today! #JustFocusonGrowing

Middle School French classes had the opportunity for High School seniors to spend the day shadowing Mr. Welfel´s schedule and interacting with others in the target language in a relaxed setting. It was a great way for students to find out what exciting opportunities await them!

Today, seniors had an opportunity to shadow staff members. It started with a great breakfast spread for all students and staff who participated. Thank you to all our staff and the senior class for organizing the event! It was a great day!

Pick a clip? Thank you Ms. Georgiadis and the 'Kindness Club' for ways to display and remember our kindness towards others.

Mrs. Arditti’s 4th graders are learning all about angles and lines. They created different types of angles and lines with modeling clay and straws. This helped them practice naming and finding their characteristics. They had so much fun using clay in math! #BESTatBrookside
